Title Sequence

A imaginary title sequence project for José Saramago’s fiction

Blindness

Working Process

  • Story Board

I planned and visualized every scene and transition element in the storyboard, ensuring the title sequence that sets the tone and captivates the audience from start to finish.

  • Color Study

After conducting two color studies, I ultimately chose the bottom one as it effectively captures the desired tone of the story, creating a visually compelling experience that resonates with the narrative.

  • Animatic 01

    The main element

  • Animatic 02

    The second scene

  • Animatic 03

    The third scene

  • Animatic 04

    The fifth scene

  • Animatic 05

    The sixth scene

  • Motion

Once the scenes were finalized, I proceeded to implement them in After Effects, faithfully following the storyboard to bring the motion to life. By meticulously translating each scene's intended movement and transitions, I ensured a cohesive visual narrative for the title sequence.

“I don't think we did go blind, I think we are blind, blind but seeing, blind people who can see, but do not see.”
